Inadequate project/programme management can have a significant effect on an organisation. It can lead to projects running late and going overbudget, not meeting business requirements and potentially not meeting regulatory or legal requirements. We have a track record of delivering projects to business requirements and also troubleshooting and project recovery, turning around projects that are failing.
Key elements of project management
The most important part of a project lifecycle is right at the start in ensuring the business requirements are correct. We can help you define those requirements to ensure they meet your current and future needs. We take time to understand your business to provide solutions that are robust and fit for purpose.
Once the scope of your project has been agreed then we will produce a project plan to show how we will manage the project for you. This will identify the resource required at each stage of the project and the lapsed time until completion. Our aim is to always deliver on time and to your requirements.
Once your project is underway, communications are vital throughout to ensure the project comes together as planned. Weekly reports to key people nominated by you will ensure that you are kept informed of progress and for any issues to be resolved. Communication is a two way process so if you have any concerns during any stage of the project we would expect you to raise them with the project manager.
Implementation and sign off
At the final stage when your project is complete we will ask you to sign off the project so that implementation can go ahead.
